How does a silent disco actually work?
It looks a little unusual at first. A crowd of people wearing headphones and dancing? But once the music starts, it all makes sense. Our wireless headphones receive audio from a central transmitter, allowing DJs, Spotify playlists or other audio sources to broadcast directly to the crowd. The really fun part? Everyone gets to choose what they hear!

With three independent channels, you can have completely different music playing at the same time.

You could have three DJs battling it out, three different genres, or scale it back with one DJ on one channel and a Spotify playlist on another. Guests switch channels with a button on their headphones and find the vibe that suits them best. Everyone wins!
Why the coloured lights?
Each channel has its own LED colour, so you can actually see what people are listening to. One moment the dance floor might be mostly red. Then a favourite song comes on another channel and suddenly half the crowd turns blue. It becomes part of the entertainment, and makes for some great photos and videos.
Quiet Outside. Party Inside.
This is one of the coolest things about Silent Disco. From outside the headphones, it's surprisingly quiet. Inside? The party is in full swing. You get the energy of a packed dance floor without blasting music through the whole venue or neighbourhood. That makes Silent Disco perfect for rooftops, beachfronts, outdoor spaces, residential areas, hotels and venues with noise restrictions or sound curfews.
Can we still chat?
No problem. Slide one side of your headphones off and you can keep listening to the music while having a conversation. Or take them off completely and give your ears a break. There's no shouting over speakers, so you can easily switch between dancing, listening and chatting whenever you feel like it. And one of the funniest parts? You can look around and have absolutely no idea what song everyone else is dancing to - unless they're singing, of course!

How many people can you accommodate?
From small private parties to large-scale events, we can scale the setup to suit your crowd. Whether it's 20 people or hundreds, we'll work out the right setup for your event.
How far do the headphones go?
Our transmitters have a range of approximately 300–500 metres, depending on the location and surroundings. That's plenty of room to spread out without losing the music.
Can we use our own devices?
Absolutely. You can connect your own devices and audio sources to the system, giving you plenty of flexibility over what your guests hear.
Can we use our own DJ or DJs?
Of course! You can bring your own DJ or DJs, and we'll provide the headphone system and make sure everything is ready to go.
Can guests control the volume?
Yes. Everyone has their own volume control, so guests can set the music exactly how they like it. Everyone can find their perfect level.
Are the headphones child-friendly?
Yes. The headphones are suitable for children as well as adults, making Silent Disco a great option for weddings, family events, kids' parties and mixed-age celebrations.
Are you eco-friendly?
We think so! Our headphones are rechargeable, so there are no disposable batteries to keep throwing away. Charge them up, use them again and again.
